Cycling – Dumfries offers ideal cycling country with convenient access to cycle routes in the forests at local Mabie and Dalbeattie . Against a beautiful wooded backdrop you can take your pick from beginner to advanced. Cycle hire is simple to organise and affordable, meaning you don't even need to go to the trouble of bringing your own bike with you!

Family Breaks – We offer a number of facilities for families with children and babies of all ages. We can provide you with a cot, bottle warming facilities, a baby bath, and a baby/child-sitting service to let the two of you get out for a relaxing meal (Angela was a registered childminder before we purchased the guest house and testimonials are available for your perusal). We also have a number of children's films which can be borrowed for use on your video player and a number of children's games and books which you are free to play/read in the comfort of your own room.
