YOUR ROOM;
All of our rooms are centrally heated and double glazed and include the Tea/Coffee making facilities that you would expect from a guest house. Each room is equipped with a combi TV/Video player with free access to our video library providing a selection of over 100 movies, allowing you to put your feet up at the end of a busy day's sight-seeing.
EATING; Whether you want a traditional cooked breakfast or are looking for something organic,low fat, vegetarian or vegan, we have something to suit your taste at the Rondo. With a choice of tea/coffee, fruit juice, cereals and white/wholemeal or gluten-free bread we feel sure that you won't leave the breakfast table hungry. Dinner can be provided by us, and guests are welcome to use our dining room facilities to bring in their own food if they prefer. Alternatively there are a variety 
of local restaurants and bistros offering everything from fine dining to
reasonably priced family meals.
TRAVELLING; As well as several bus operators from both Scotland and England providing regular services to Dumfries, the town also has a train station providing nation-wide transport links. If you plan to arrive by bus or train, please ring the guest house and we will be more than happy to drive out and collect you and your luggage at no extra charge. If you are arriving by car we can provide you with a permit to enable you to park right outside the guest house for as long as you require at no charge.
WEATHER; Having just enjoyed one of the hottest and longest summers on record it would be fair to say that you could be in for a pleasant surprise in the weather department when you come to Dumfries. Whatever time of the year you decide to holiday, Dumfries has no end of indoor attractions should the weather take a downturn. A Museum, Aviation Museum , Camera Obscura , Ice Rink, Swimming Pool, two Cinemas, a Theatre, a children's Soft Play Centre and an indoor Shopping Centre are just some of the options open to you if the weather should take a turn for the worse. Now that we've looked at the worst case scenario lets see what you can get up to in the great outdoors the rest of the time;
